A couple of examples of what kickstarter can do.

Callum Campbell and Jennifer Baker

Calum Campbell was delighted to start his new job with Designer Kids and Baby Ltd based in Paisley supported by the Kickstart Scheme.  Callum registered with Invest in Renfrewshire and was supported to develop his CV, prepare for interview and work towards achieving his CSCS Card.  This hard work paid off and Callum secured the first Kickstart Job available through Renfrewshire Council’s Kickstart opportunities.  Callum was amazed at how quickly he secured this job and is excited about working with Jennifer and her growing business.

On my first visit I went away with three things that I was going to do, and I felt like I was already making progress, I felt confident that they were really going to be helping me and not just saying they would get me a job

I still can’t believe that I started working with my Invest in Renfrewshire Advisor a few months ago not being able to leave the house or talk to my family. Now I’m able to say how excited I am to be starting a job for the first

Kailum McGinn

Kailum was made redundant from his apprenticeship, which he had been supported to secure from the team at Invest, so he re-engaged and was matched with a Community Benefit provider who offered him employment.

I would still be unemployed if it was not for my Invest Advisor, the help I got was amazing
